Dear Tiffany and Todd,

Thank you for your response to my email about working with you. I am sure you are extremely busy running all of your storage units but I would like to take a moment to share my strengths that I feel would benefit your company a great deal. A few of my strengths are as follows:

  • Ability to lead and direct
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to “Always find a better way” for things
  • Good with my hands
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Competitive drive for success

I would love the opportunity to work with you in growing your company. Giving me the job would not be regretted by you or your husband. I stand my my resume and this letter as my traits easily show while working. Thank you for your time and your potential employment.

Sincerely,

Danny Van Wagoner

Skills Assessment

hree skills I enjoy- Complex Problem Solving, Systems Evaluations, Repairing

Three skills I perform well- Instructing, Writing, Speaking

Three skills I would like to develop- Mathematics, Management of Financial Resources, Systems Evaluations

The assessment placed me in many leadership roles which I am pleased with. I have always wanted to either lead or own my own company, so that was re-assuring. A lot of them were also engineering which I have given no thought into so maybe that is a career I can look into. I liked this assessment because it opened my eyes to things I never thought of

To develop the skills that I need to work on, I will seek the help of people in that profession. I love to learn from others so I will work with them to find out how they have perfected each skill.

Personal Values

1. Love

2. Happiness

3. Accomplishment

4. Consistency

5. Relaxation

6. Challenge

7. Friendship

8. Leisure Time

9. Travel

10. Adventure

1. I think love is the key to partnership. I will not choose a career unless I absolutely love what I am doing.

2. I think happiness is a major key to life in general. With everything you do, make sure you are happy. Again I will make sure I am happy in my career choice.

3. Accomplishment is a great self esteem booster. I wont choose a career I don’t feel accomplished in.

4. Consistency is great for getting into a rhythm and getting things done. I will choose a career that is very consistent in many different aspects.

5. Everyone needs some relaxation every once in a while. It would be foolish if I chose a career that didn’t allow me to relax every now and again.

6. I love a great challenge and would not think about considering a career that wasn’t a challenge to me.

7. Friendship is needed by everyone. Having someone to talk to at your workplace is key to getting things off your chest. Also having the ability to lean on someone is nice.

8. Leisure time is a great stress reducer. I will make sure my career allows for a lot of leisure time.

9. Along with leisure time travel is also a must for me!

10. Again the same as leisure and travel, adventure in my career will play a large part in my happiness and creativity.

I think that the top ten might change in the order of their appearance but not off of the the top ten list completely. After giving this much thought I know that these things are, and always will be, very important to me.
